Job Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex software systems, with a focus on security and network-related products. You will leverage your expertise in building scalable solutions and your extensive experience with technologies such as Kafka, Postgres, Redis, Scylla, and Elasticsearch to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products.

 

What You'll DO:

 

  • Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions using Go Lang.
  • Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems tailored for security and network-related products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization, performance tuning, and scalability enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Go Lang and related technologies, contributing to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and scalability standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

 

What You'll Need:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a software engineer specializing in Go Lang development for atleast 4 years.
  • Extensive experience building security and network-related products is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Postgres, Redis, Scylla, Elasticsearch, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python or Rust.
  • Proficiency in designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the Go Lang community are a plus.
