Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will...
- Design, build, and maintain products and features supporting our platform and API
- Write efficient and scalable code
- Build reusable and maintainable components and libraries for future use
- Develop and support third party integrations
- Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Support management of hosting, infrastructure, automation, and development tools
- Troubleshoot and debug problems, providing optimization when necessary
- Participate in Agile development process and ceremonies
- Participate in planning, development, code review, QA, and deployment
- Draft and review documentation and other technical documents
- Collaborate with the team on designing and prioritizing new features
- Provide technical support to sales team and clients
- Consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation
- Work remotely with a distributed team
- Plan for growth of our platform and infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications
- A strong technical background gained through education and/or on-the-job experience
- Experience building products and features centered around users’ needs
- Experience building web applications
- Experience developing APIs and back-end systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of software engineering experience
- Knowledge and experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular front-end frameworks such as React
- Knowledge and experience with Go or other systems programming languages
- Knowledge and experience working with document or relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
- Knowledge and experience with virtualization, containerization, and distributed systems
