We are looking for a talented Payload Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform discovery surveys on innovative solutions in various fields
  • Designing an optomechanical system through the entire life cycle of the product (from concept to mass production)
  • Design and build prototypes, create detailed drawings and instructions for production  
  • Perform bench and integration testing on new systems. 
  • Prepare product technical requirements and specifications.  
  • Interact with other engineering groups, as well as cross-functional teams such as electronics, control, embedded, manufacturing, and product to integrate the product with evolving platforms
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and marketing 

Requirements

  • B.sc. in mechanical eng.
  • 3+ years of “ Hands- On” experience
  • Completion of design cycles ( SRR->PDR->CDR->QRR->PRR)
  • Knowledge in delicate mechanical design and thermal solutions
  • Knowledge in manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with PCB/harness design interfaces and design processes with PCB designers
  • Experience with design for environmental conditions (broad work temp. Range, vibration, shock)
  • Experience in CAD (Solidworks) experience with PDM - advantage
  • Knowledge in optomechanics – advantage
  • Knowledge in dynamic vibration isolation - advantage
  • Experience with motion control sensors (IMU, encoders) - advantage
  • Soft skills: Creative, analytical thinker, ability to learn in a short time and deliver, ownership, holistic approach, Team player, great interpersonal skills
